As the name implies, this is a fracture of the cuboid bone of the foot. Isolated cuboid fractures are the result of direct trauma. Most, however, occur in conjunction with other fractures of the foot.

A	Lateral radiograph of the foot. There is a minimally displaced fracture of the cuboid. This was not seen on the other projections.
